Hello, my name is Jemma, I am so excited to embark on my new adventure with you and your furry loved ones! My background resides in the health care field, where I have gained a degree in Adult Nursing and 6 years experience as a registered nurse. After a lot of thought, I decided to take that really scary jump and dive head first into a new challenge, to what brings me the most drive and passion which is dogs and animals.  

Although, I don't have a professional background in animal care, I have a personal one. Growing up, I was lucky to have had a menagerie of pets, from dogs, cats, chickens, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and even a snake. This has enabled me to gain copious amounts of knowledge and experience in animal care. I am dog first aid and CPR trained. I am undertaking additional training in canine behaviour. In my spare time, I also volunteer at a local animal rescue centre which brings me so much joy. 

I currently own one springer spaniel, called, Bailey. As you can imagine, he keeps me on my toes, but he is also behind some of the inspiration I had when I first thought about working with dogs and animals. The way he splashes through thick muddy puddles (ensuring to splash me in the process), the way he gets the zoomies and almost wipes me out in the process, and most importantly, the way he reminds me everyday, that life is a gift and having a dog or other animal lightens your life in an area you never knew was dark until the day you met them. Then, enjoying the thought of working with animals all day everyday enticed me to create Zoomies With Jemma. 

As a pet owner myself, I can understand that you want to ensure that your dog or pet is receiving the same high standard of care that you provide. Zoomies With Jemma strives to achieve that high standard and can provide a variety of services which can be tailored to you and your pets needs.
